Samsung’s Android goes Pro

The Samsung Pro B7510 offers Android prowess with great style

Samsung can boast of being one of the leading brands in India who are providing Android devices for every category of mobile enthusiasts. The latest from their stables is the Samsung Pro B7510.

It is a candy bar QWERTY keypad cum touchscreen phone that runs on Android 2.2 operating system. The Samsung Pro supports HSDPA and is capable of giving you 3G speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps (megabits per second). It comes with an internal storage of 512 MB and can be further expanded using a micro SD card. The Samsung Pro has a 800 Mhz processor at its core and it is expected to give a snappy performance and the phone also has the option of Wi-Fi connectivity.

When it comes to multimedia the phone boasts of a 3.15-megapixel camera with features like smile shot. Considering that most Samsung devices come with impressive camera capabilities, we expect the Pro to be no less. Additionally, the video player comes with DivX and XviD support. There are more features like access to social networking sites, GPS, FM radio, ThinkFree Office document viewer and editor and a 2 GB micro SD card.

The 2.8 inch QVGA screen is optimum for a decent touch interface and it also has a built-in accelerometer for enhanced functionality. The Samsung Galaxy Pro is priced at Rs 12,300 in the Indian market.
